Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today I am posting a photo of the four treasures from waaaaay back. This was our St. Patrick's Day tradition. They would put on their green bowler hats every year and have a progressive treasure hunt. The first clue would take them to a spot where they would find another clue, and then again, and so on... until they found the last note that had a Rainbow on it, and a plastic black cauldron filled with gold wrapped chocolate coins, and other candies and a present (usually a new video) that had some green color on the box. They always got so excited to find the pot at the end of the rainbow.
Oh how I used to love to do these little traditional celebrations on special days. It was fun to see the delight on their faces, and I know they felt loved.

Well, they may be too old to do the little hunts anymore, but they will get something green today. :-) Justin already had his box filled with green things sent out a week and a half ago. Maybe he will get it by Friday.!!??

Happy St. Patrick's to all of you whether you are Irish or not.
Below is the well known Irish blessing. I wish it for you all.
Thanks for praying for our troops. Remember the family of the Marine from the 1/6 who was killed yesterday in a vehicle accident. Grieving for the young wife.

Justin did call yesterday while I was at work. I missed it!!! :-( But he did get to talk to his two brothers. He said they would be moving out from Camp Leatherneck today. Don't know when we will hear from him again. Thanks so much for praying.
God bless my honorable Marine in Green... and all the troops as they move out and about today on foreign soil.

That is so cool that you did that and that You STILL do something. I dropped it and some others along the way. Maybe I should pick things back up like this and surprise the kids again. Thanks for memories.

Dear sweet Julie,
I cannot imagine anyone knowing you and not seeing Jesus! I spent a bit of time this morning reading back through some of your very first posts when you started your blogging adventure. Oh my goodness, my friend. I was so richly blessed...especially with the ones about when Kurt's job put him among the ranks of the unemployed. Such wise wise counsel you imparted to your readers, Julie!
My life is so enriched by the Lord's design in putting you in my path!
Many many hugs,
Dianna

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too, my sweet friend!

You have no idea how much of a blessing you've been to me. You know, I'm like Dianna above, but in a different way. As blessed as I am when coming here, I'm even more blessed reading over the private e-mails you've sent me. If I need a pick-me-up whenever I'm feeling blue, all I need do is re-read your e-mails, and some how or another, I'm refreshed. That's how much of an inspiration you are to me.

Please know you're in my prayers each and every day. My constant prayer is that God blesses you today and every day!

Love ya! *huge hugs*
