A Dog and HIS spot....

Well~~ this is gonna be...

There are days, .....and there are days.

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. There will be times where you have to take a stand, and be unmoveable. You will just know when it is THAT time.

Gideon took his stand yesterday...and he did it laying down!!!

If ever there was a dawg who did NOT want to give up his sunny spot, I would have to say ....There he is... *(yes the vacuum cleaner IS running)

TENACIOUS.

This pic is not the best. I took it with my cell phone which was ON me, while I was vacuuming, because I wanted to share it with my Honey...
He misses the furry family members too!

And so let us all learn, when you have claimed something or somewhere as yours...Be Strong. Hold what cha got! A girl's gotta know her limits......after all.

And sometimes.....So does a DOG!!!!

HUGS ... xoxo

  3. So did Gideon move?? He's so sweet there
in the sun. I bet you just vacuumed all
    around him. Right? :0)
Still snowing as I write this. So lovely
but I actually think I'm getting cabin
fever after a week of it. Think I'll get
the sled out and try to make it to the
    nearest Ingles market.
    Hope your day is blessed.
    Love,
    Sandy

  6. He sure is cute!!! Dixie loves her sunspot too!!! She refuses to move more times than I can count. I guess our pets know a good thing when they are laying in it. LOL

  8. You go Gideon, that's your slice of the sun and don't move, stay...STAY! Good boy!

Ms. B is the same way, that girl knows just what she wants when she wants it and she doesn't give up even if she has to get it herself ~ and trust me when I say that she will get it herself...

Have a great night! Stay warm, hugs to you!

Oh, before I go...I have been meaning to ask you how your father is getting along. I've been thinking of him & keeping him in my prayers.

    Have a great night,

  9. My dog is
    TERRIFIED of
    the vacuum....
    one of the only
    thing that little
    scrappy-doo is
    afraid of....
    So this really
    made me smile.
    Love the analogy
    to LIFE: so true!!
    Perfect picture,
    because your doggy
    is so illuminated
    and you can just
    FEEL how good that
    warm spot must have
    felt to him.
    Happy Friday ~ hooray!
    xx Suzanne

  10. Cute cute cute. A great lesson to learn here. I guess it's a question of how bad you want something and what are you willing to do or NOT DO to get it. The sunny spot certainly looks comfy. We should be like Gideon in our Lord's presence, be undisturbed by life's noises, they may sound scary but God's warmth will overcome any fear.
