Marine Mom and Mail Moments.....

I have gotten ONE letter from my Marine....
In the brief and disappointingly dropped call..I heard that he had mailed 5!!!
Every day I listen for Mailman Mike to come down the street and go out to see if today is the day...another letter!???

This is NOT my mailman Mike (yikes, thank goodness!)...but I can see this guy telling me to "Buck Up Marine MOM", and get my chin off the ground, and carry on while waiting for my letters....

Gotta keep those packages and letters going out to keep their Devil Dawg motivation up..
MOTOMAIL!!!!

I'm sure those goodie packages trump an MRE any day!!

Keeping images like this in my mind to stay positive that mail is getting there....

Rah to Mom for sending a miniflag...

Special RAHS! to you mail handlers out there. Keep it moving...Semper Fi!!!

Isn't there anybody out there who knows how to keep the sand outta my skivvies???

God bless, and keep up the prayers for our military guys and gals...

Oh I pray you hear from him soon! There are long times in between calls for Cindylou too! Justin isn't much on the letter writing but calls as often as possible. Hugs, dear Julie... I am praying from where I am! Have a blessed day!

Julie, my mail man actually quit our route when Billy was away in Boot Camp...he told the Post Master "the lady a 173 M!@#$%^$# St. is making me nuts...she waits at the end of the driveway and yells at me if I don't have any mail from her son." ~ I saw the Post Master when I went to drop off a package of cough drops & power bars for the recruits, when he saw where it was going he just laughed & came around the counter and hugged me ~ he is a RETIRED MARINE!!! He kicked the mailmans butt!!! RAH FOR THE POST MASTER!!!!! I hope you get your letters soon & a call...but remember NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!!!! Hugs to you & prayers for your mom & dad & your beautiful Marine!!!!!

You dear sweet girlfriend...hoping and praying that it won't be long now. When I saw your picture of the mailman and the other cute ones on down the line do you know what I thought of? Remember how the Bible talks about how David often encouraged himself in the Lord? That's what I was thinking of...how hungry you are to hear from your Marine (the soldier pics just about did me in)and yet you are encouraging yourself (and us) with humor. Hmmm...now I just wonder where it would be that Justin gets his love of making others laugh from? ;)

I spent the day with my mother today. She had an appointment to get her car serviced today, so I drove her over for that, then we had lunch out and back to her house so I could do up some laundry before leaving to get groceries on my way home. I'm doing my father-in-law's laundry now...but will soon be taking some time here to just relax. I'm catching up on blog reading in the meantime.

Have a wonderful weekend...and give us a HUGE shout out if you get those four letters tomorrow....or even just one!

Love and hugs coming to you.

Oh Marine Mail...I have gone through several postmen and well this sweet lady that has my route now thank goodness she didn't have it during bootcamp...We would actually go and hunt the postman down if he was not here by a certain time!!! Bless his heart he was so scared to come by here if he didn't have anything for me from my marine!! I mail out something everyday to my Justin!! You have a great evening and every letter and every package is welcomed by each of our Marines!!
