Wednesday Ponderings...

Before you sit down....pumpkin-chocolate chip bread...anyone??????

Be sure to get outside and see what's unfolding in these early Spring days...
It's recharging! Renews the heart that God's world is constant and continues to stay on track...man cannot mess with God's work in the beginning to set all things in place.
Volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes, floods, drought... come what may,
The world continues to turn, the seasons continue to change, the Hand of God still remains in complete control...

Oh Woobie....WHO are you vigilantly looking for?.....It's not just the humans who miss Justin's comings and goings here on Woodberry......sigh.
Thank you for all your prayers lifted up for him, for Billy, for Justin, for Jeff...
God's ear is listening...

Have a great day everybody. Hugs and beautiful sunny Spring walks out with Mother Nature...

Mommy, ENOUGH! please....no more pictures!!! woof!

I will close with just a short sad note...

Yesterday my daughter Kat had to let go of her kitty Socks, who was going into kidney failure, just like Rastus did last Fall. Socks would have been 14 this Saturday. Socks and her brother Tux were rescued and adopted from our vet. They looked almost identical except Tux was much bigger. We lost Tux three years ago.
Here are a few pics in memory of the sweet little "Sissy" as I always called her.

younger and healthier days...

Biscuit and Sebby are left of this trio... They LIVE upstairs in Katie's room pretty much. Only Sebby ventures down into the lower floor of the house. Biscuit is going to be 14 this year and getting frail. Hang in there little girl...

We have dug 3 graves in less than a year in our pet cemetary...too many.... :-(

Thanks to all who stopped by to visit. Bloggy friends ROCK!

Pumpkin-chocolate chip bread???? Oh that looks yummy.
Your gardens/yard look awesome, lush and beautiful. Lots of loving care went into that we can tell. I'd love to take a stroll there someday with you and enjoy sweet bread, and sweet conversation & fellowship with you dear friend.
Some day....some day!
((hugs))

Please give Kat a hug from me. My heart aches for her...My only cat we've had since we've moved here almost 12 years ago now was still a kitten. Carroll had brought her home to me from out at the farm because I was in a bit of a depression from missing our kids and settling into the routine of a new move. Anyway...we live entirely too close to the road and as a friend of mine and I were taking a walk she'd just gotten by our mailbox when my friend said, "look...is that your kitten?" And it was...she'd not been able to come home and eat because she had been hit. To have had a cat for as long as Kat has had this one just has to be very very sad.

On other venues...as I was just walking out to get our mail for the day I found myself praying for Justin.

Your gardens are beautiful, Julie. I have taken some things to heart...and now have my eyes peeled for some special "little things" to scatter here and there in my flowers.

And, last but not least, comes a hug for my dear friend and Bloggy sister.

Love ya!

I am so sorry about Socks, to let three friends go on it just so sad...I'd miss my two brats! Your yard is just beautiful!! Loved the dogs, watching & waiting! Pumpkin bread is one of my specialties...I love to bake, especially during the holidays!!!! Hope you had a great day, hope your mom & dad are on the mend...sending up a prayer. Hope that all is well with Justin, God is watching over him & protecting him, but....a prayer or two never hurt :)!!! Blessings & hugs!

Just stopping by this morning to say thank you and give you a hug ((Julie)). I so appreciated your thoughtful comments you left me yesterday afternoon when you visited.

That dear Woobie...one day he's going to see that Marine guy come through the door again and then he'll be happy again. Please take pictures when that happens, k?

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

That is too many! I'm so sorry about Socks. We lost our Cocker Spaniel due to kidney failure a few years back - it's hard.

That pumpkin-choc bread looks so good! Lovely photos of your garden too - that bunny is just adorable!
