Humidity+HEAT+Rain =Jungle Fever

Can we say Zero to Sixty in less than two weeks??
That's about how fast these wild vines and OTHER weeds have taken off in a very short time...

No KIDDING!

Although these wild (not planted by MOI!) vines are pretty enough to make beautiful little photos out in Mother Nature...all of their wild and wily friends coming up in every square inch of my yard are....NOT!!!

Oh my...can NOT...keep up...

Wouldn't DARE show you the ugly side of this jungle like growth...but, for today, here's a semi-pretty side of it...before I go and tear it out, and it starts ALL OVER AGAIN...

Life is What You Make of It!!!

Hugs to all. Thanks for all your encouragement and prayers...So GRATEFUL!

I have giant swamp daisies that are taking over here and lots of vines all over the place! It is just too hot to worry about it!

I hope you saw my shout out comment about Justin calling:) It made me as happy as can be to see that you got to hear his sweet voice!

God, please protect this young Marine and return him to his sweet Mama!

Big hugs and prayers for all of you up there!

I love all of the sweet little "extras" that you add to your beds, Julie. I look at your pics and envision how serene it must be to walk around your yard...a sanctuary, really. And then I read that you are tearing out all of the vines! Oh my...I especially like the grapevine wreath hanging on the side there. Have fun tearing out all of the vines. They'll grow back, you know? I'm just pushing for little critters to have a cool place in the shade. ~wink~

What a privilege to fight the battle on our knees that God's protection is seen and felt by those Justins that are fighting the battle that rages in war.

XOXOXO
Dianna

Julie, if you saw my yard and my "pretty little: flowers you'd RUN & RUN FAST! The heat has just killed everything off, only exception THE WEEDS! I;m ready to rip it all up and turn the dirt and get it ready for my fall mums! Oh well!
Praying for your mom & Justin. Have a great day! Blessing & hugs coming your way!

Oh I know! I made myself go outside today and pull a few weeds and take out some of the veggies that are done. I can't wait for fall!

Oh my gosh, Julie!!! here is the same, suddenly our backyard seams like a jungle!! what makes very unhappy is our morning glories are taking FOR EVER!! to bloom and all those weedy (?) vines are covering our fence ={ but oh well, I know fall is around the corner and all those greens will be gorgeous browns and red.

Hugs and blessings. Praying for Justin and all our Military Personnel and Vets.

Those vines really are pretty, but sometimes just the repetition of weeding is kind of fun! I'm strange sometimes, I know! ~Lili

We had ivy growing along our wood fence at our old house... so we sold the house! lol! jk.
I just got done reading your post about Justin calling to Papa and got so teary eyed. It is strange how I have never met you but love you and am right there with you through the tears of happiness and sadness. We are praying!!!!

Oh my goodness, Julie, I
didn't have internet for
three days and look what
I missed!!! Your boy called!
And he's okay! I am so
very very very happy for him
and for your family. We are
so darn lucky to have fine
men like this willing to defend
our freedoms. Now, to comment
on your vines seems to pale in
comparison, but I will say this:
I hear you!!! Keeping up with
weeds in the summer is a battle
royale; I'm almost glad when
fall comes, except that we live
in MN and you know what that
means: winter! Hope your
week is off to a great start....
xx Suzanne
PS: I hope your mama
is doing well. Loved hearing
your memories on P&H.

Those vines do look nice. I have weeds coming up all over the place and I don't want to brave the extreme heat and the wasps to go out there and do something about it. So my yard remains weedy.... for now. :-)
