Oh how sweet! I can't wait for him to get to come home for Thanksgiving! You all are probably gonna squeeze each other to pieces:) Love you my friend! HUGS!
Aaawwwww!!! so so sweet, I know you are getting the butterflies in the stomach feeling, ;). This will be a very special Thanksgiving. Hugs and blessings.
Hello Julie, Love the picture of you and Kurt. Not long now, and you can really hug his neck! :-) I'm so glad the boys were able to go and spend some time with him.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind words. After the labor of cracker making, they fit in two small containers! When Carroll came home I held up the containers and said, "Sad as it is, this is how I spent my day today!" It got me a kiss because he understands how time consuming they are to do. He loves them...my motivation for making them! ~wink~
I have been married for over 30 years. Through God's plan and grace, my husband and myself are slowly but surely being changed and shaped into the man and woman He wants us to be. We have been plucked up out of the Southern state of North Carolina and transplanted into the Midwestern state of Iowa. God has plans and He works to make sure they happen all for our best. We have 4 precious children. Katie, Justin, Jonny, and Kameron. They are of great value, more than gold and precious jewels to Kurt and myself. They are our most valuable asset on this earth. We love the Lord God, and live to continually try to give Him honor and glory in our words and actions. His grace is sufficient, and the supremacy of Jesus Christ is our strength and confidence. Where we are weak, HE is strong.

"...admonish the young women to love their...children" Titus 2:4 "The world is tugging at our children's hearts, pulling them down and away from God. Loving our children means we are willing to get down in the trenches and fight to turn our children's hearts toward God -toward His Word and His ways." Elizabeth George

I love that song! Absence does make the heart grow fonder, doesn't it? Praying for you both during this time. xoxo
