W is for Wednesday, Woobie, White, Woolie-Boolie, and WORK

At Ease WOOBIE...the Marine has returned to base...Don't worry..he will be back.

WHITE Hydrangeas...OH SO much a favorite flower of mine...Bessie Helstrom - Swedish born artist in the late 1800's...anybody else love her floral still-life's??{ **this had hung in my front hall before...I got it out of the closet and painted the frame white and hung it over Kurt's dresser...RE-Loving it..}

the image of PEONIES below, is one of my favorites...Lovin' that touch of blue with the beautiful color of the vase....If I ever saw it in a thrift store....WATCH OUT!!!...I might knock you over....errr, sorry, ...bump into you... running to get it.. It is not very common to see these turned in to a thrift though..

This week Jonny is once again down at Clemson in South Carolina participating in Camp Hope...He has been a counselor/chaperone in previous years, and actually was on the leadership team this year..Below is a picture I found from 2008...Jonny has a HUGE place in his heart for these kids (and adults ) and LOVES this annual trip...
He is on a team at our church that is really working to expand the ministry to challenged people and their families here in Charlotte...I know it has changed him.
Praying for him to have a fantastic heart-changing week once again...

IN THE MEAN TIME....MAMA GET TO WORK...AND GET HIS ROOM (the very last one to go) PAINTED!!!!!! NOW!!!!

Grrr..YES KOBE! I see you rolling in the Grass all Woolie-Boolie right after having a bath to be all CLEAN!!! a dog's gonna do what a dog's gonna do!!!

And today, I close with what is NOT a secret...

I miss him terribly...

A word of encouragement....in the spirit of SISTERHOOD...

Marriage is ALL about TWO people becoming ONE...so....your man is actually, year after year, becoming mentally-emotionally-spiritually... entwined with you through life's circumstances, moments of facing the hard times together and getting each other through them, and experiencing the happiest moments together walking out of them smiling with the memories.

Go to the other half of yourself today...look him in the eye, and tell him how very VERY much he means to you, and how miserable life would be if he were not there to live out your days with you... make him feel cherished, valuable and indispensible.
Give him a huge hug and a BIG kiss...and see what happens. :-)

You REALLY REALLY don't know fully how MUCH that is true until you have had to do without it...oh my....don't take that man for granted....

Have a Wonderful Wednesday bloggy sisters and visitors stopping by...

I love Jonny and his calling- praying for a grand time for him and all that he touches.
Your advice is true and needs to be heeded. I hug and tell my other half those things all the time and you should see the note he left me the other night...together we will face whatever comes...and in the end we will be together again. Our biggest fear is the time when one of us will be left on this side for awhile, while the other one waits on the other side. We are forever...;)

Here here to loving that man of mine! You always have great advice and wonderful gratitude. It must be so hard right now for you two, but it will be so happy to see you and your man living in the same place under the same roof soon! xoxo ~Lili

I have the same art of the hydrangeas by Bessie Helstrom! I found it at a garage sale in Columbus Ohio about 25 years ago. I always loved it! Now, though, I'm wondering if it is original (has her signature on bottom right)or a copy.
