Life with Dawgs....

Good Morning. I SLEPT IN this morning.... :-) And it is quite nice outside, so for a mid-late morning breakfast, I am out on the porch...

I have an oldie, (over 20 years old) but goodie book to view while I eat.

Yogurt, Banana blueberry bread, and coffee....Could I prepare some for you????

We could discuss quilts, and lovely ladies who put so much of themselves into their works of art, and of course I would discuss MY life with DAWGS.....

which if you have a quick eye and noticed that THIS...

changed to THIS...

...then you would know when I said KOBE still thought that this quilt had HIS name on it and tried ONE time to pull it off the table, and I said ...NOT GOOD...because he can be RELENTLESS... it got moved!

**And I will add that EVERY little torn and unravelling square is repaired. Rah!

It just so happens that this BLUE HYDRANGEA table cloth was in a GW bin for under $2.00 and it was the answer to my dilemma!! :-)

But where did the quilt go??? Did I surrender and give it BACK to my Renegade Blankie-toting dawg??

First day of the rest of his life...Kobe on the way home from the SC shelter...blankie on van seat...in mouth!

I Digress!

The quilt was not returned...Not Quite YET...Tried one more place.

I have a Navy leather sofa in my informal living room.. It really STANDS out in a sea of whites and lighter blues...I thought I would throw the quilt over the back and see if it took away some of the glare of that DARK blue... we'll see...if Kobe tries to pull it off of this spot...I will wave the white flag...I DID give it to him in the beginning...(Does that make me an Indian giver)???

And here is why my sofas have cushion covers that can be thrown in the wash...

My life with Dawgs...a little extra challenge...a few extra washloads...but I wouldn't want to live life without them...

I shall share more of the oldie but goodie quilt book another time...

Hugs to all dropping by...have a beautiful day wherever you are, and I pray God blesses you extra special today...

We love you Justin. SO wonderful to FB chat with you yesterday...Wherever you will be going...and can not tell....I pray for God to keep you safe...that what you are asked to do will be successful, and can't wait til you get back to base... xoxo hugs from MOM ~ God BLESS you... Stay STRONG and sure-footed 1/2 ASSAULT MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS...

Love that quilt and I think it is where it should be:) Although Kobe deserves a good quilt to snuggle with, that one is to be viewed! I hope that you enjoyed your coffee, Banana blueberry bread and yogurt! I will take the same thing! I can't wait to one day sit across the table from you:) I know it is gonna happen! I appreciate your friendship and can't imagine my days without you in it! Have a mighty blessed day! I am praying for your Justin daily! I know that God will protect him while he is traveling around the globe! BIG HUGS!

I really love your "new" cheap table cloth. I would have snatched that one up in a heart beat. SO cheerful and happy in the sun spot there and a great place for a late breakfast! SO glad you got to sleep in. I am sure you have built in alarm clocks, like us. The babies always let us know if we over sleep 2 minutes!
I hope the quilt stays on the back of the sofa, looks so good there, but Kobe might need it more, so you will have to keep looking for something more special for the back of the sofa.
Hope the marines stay safe where ever they are, what ever they are doing. Always in my prayers until they come home to their mommas.
Have a great day, girl and enjoy this lovely weather. Praying for rain this weekend! Hope we both get soaked!
