First, I wanted to share with you about the wonderful vintage Christmas ornaments that begin to pop out in all the thrift stores right about now. They make beautiful additions to your Christmas season decorations. For me, they add to my nest year-round! The very best thing is the PRICE!

I love the tiny little Christmas balls. I found full baggies of these for .50! The colors go perfectly with my Dining Room.

There was enough of these ornaments to fill two cups in my china cabinet, and to set on top of some vintage candlesticks.

Here's another way I displayed. The silver balls I found a year ago in my favorite little thrift shop in a baggie for a quarter. At the recent Salvation Army Store 50% off sale, I found the Pearly White ones in an old baggie...also for .25- The cloche is now filled to the top and looks much better. Again, these stay out year round with my silver framed family photos.

You will remember this recent treasure I just shared last week (again at the 50% off sale at SA stores)

Those lone 3 sweet bird ornaments are displayed here, and WILL REMAIN out year round.

A step-back view of both displays on this table top.

Last year's Christmas silver beaded candle ring in a basket at the Thrift(.50), stays out year round with this cloche in my bath.

The rolled-up burned edge sheet music was a Christmas ornament hanging on the Christmas tree in the Thrift this week. (.25) I loved it, and decided to incorporate it into a memory cloche. See the little seaweed tree?? That is a treasure my girl Kat found on the beach when we were at Topsail awaiting Justin's return from Afghanistan. She handed it to me. (instinctively knows what her mama loves) It is a *memory* of that time. the waiting...the tropical storm...the moments we briefly had on the shore before the storm thundered in. The Christmas ornament just gave the finishing touch to the mini-tree and shells for my "memory-treasure" display. The title of the hymn showing is "Oh God, the Rock of Ages". I felt that during the storm.

There are so MANY ways to display Christmas ornaments into everyday decor. I love Christmas. It is my favorite holiday season. (as if you couldn't tell)It is the birthday of my Savior, and full of love, and worship, and family traditions!

This post is long. I will add this last vintage ornament also posted before, and END this post! This white bottle-brush-tree trio was a GW find...took the hanging cord off and found the base at a later date for .99!

So get out there and search those resale stores and booths for some VERY thrifty ornaments right now while Christmas decor is coming out. You may find some treasures dating back to your Great Grandma's day!!! And when New Year's comes around...LEAVE THEM OUT!

Go visit Debra for some beautiful and enjoyable posts to inspire you today.

Hugs to all my bloggy sisters and visitors. Have a blessed weekend.

Just lovely, Julie! I love all your cloches, too! I love using ornaments in many different ways throughout the house and in different holders during the holidays. I've got a few new trays and things and am looking forward to dressing them up with ornaments this year!
