Weekend Focus...

This is what I noticed when I looked out my door this morning as the sun was peeking through the trees in the front yard. I love the moss on the steps. It is a part of Nature showing it's beautiful colors...Today the front step made me appreciate GREEN. It represents LIFE in the realm of nature's beauty.

Sharing an "inside" green that reminds me of another Nature's green..

When I saw this pretty green glass at Goodwill, the very first thing that came to my mind was the color of the ocean water I gazed upon in September. I love to view and hear the ocean waves. The water changes shades depending on how near or far away you are, and also with a cloudy or sunny day. This find came home with me...obviously.... such cheap thrills for this cottage country girl. I put a long long strand of Christmas Tree pearl garland in it. (another .25 find at the thrift)

And now she has a new home... reminding me of ocean water, and of different days spent at the coasts of North and South Carolina with my family. cherished memories...
I wouldn't be surprised if she is holding a variety of shells and beach glass or stones one day...collected treasures...a part of special moments in life.

Today I am thankful for the beauty of this earth. For all that God's awesome power and wisdom could put together in just a spoken Word. Creation is beyond my understanding....my little mind can't wrap itself around all of what our most amazing Creator could just put together in 6 days. But I am so grateful for the inspiring and breathtaking wonder of it all. We do live in a fallen world with so many tainted touches of sinful man, and yet the beauty is still here. Good things are still all around us. We just have to sometimes adjust our lens...focus in on the moments and gifts that stand out in the dim or dark days.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters....... Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day. Genesis 1: 1,31

Thanking God today for the beauty that still survives over and around this old planet. Truly HE still watches over and cares for His Creation.

I hope that you find beauty in moments this weekend...that good memories will be stirred up, and inspiration will fill you with joy that Life is Still Good...
Look at things with a different perspective if you don't like what you see. Get a good, clear, sharp focus...zoom in if you have to and see the tiniest beauty in the common day.

Hugs to all my bloggy sisters visiting. May you have a glorious and beautiful weekend.

God is good ....all the time....God is good.

Hugs to you too Sweetie! I loved your green, I am very luck to live so near to the ocean that when I find I am needing peace & prayer I can jump into my car and be there in 10 - 15 minutes...the ocean, wind, & sand are my go to place!! Loved your green, the moss is beautiful, I watch it grow on base of the tree in our yard and touch it often! I love to look at my holly bush, so beautiful & now sharing the red berries with the Cardinals that come to visit every morning...hmmm, I am getting a bit sappy! Feeling thankful for so many things today :) love to you my Bloggy ~ MARINE MOM sister!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

He gave us His creation so we could
enjoy it and just be able to look
around us and see Him in it every-
where. I particularly love watching
all the birds and taking care of
my flowers. The moss is a vibrant
green and yes it does so represent
life. Those few snow flurries this
afternoon did too!
Have a lovely weekend!
Hugs,
Sandy
