How about a RED Wednesday???

Normally I am participating in Kathleen's White Wednesday, but today I thought I would join Sue over at Wednesday is REDnesday...for all things cheery and red.

Want to see pretty reds today? Here's her link:

Here are a few REDS that bring a zing to my kitchen. :-)

It's very cheerful and whistles like a charm!

Love the red! This woven bread basket (repurposed!) was at Goodwill!

Sentimental pot holder (grandmama's) and cheap little dishdrain, over the sink for when I need it.

vintage-looking diner set - Goodwill.

loved this vintage metal coffee sign.

This large print hangs behind our kitchen table. I got it a number of years ago. I loved the beautiful cat, the birdcage, the blue and white vase and the red Poppy flowers. This gave that red splash to the kitchen I wanted.

Every kitchen wants a touch of whimsy, so here is mine. Loved the big RED cherry on top.

Don't these replica clocks take you back to the pics from the 50's?

And here are some of my favorite REDS outside of our home.

These are very special symbols to all who pass our home because....

Truly I do love my honorable Marine. I am missing him.

Thanks for visiting and cruising through my reds... Have a great day and don't forget to go over to Sue's if you want to see more cheerful stuff.

Hi Julie,
Great reds for REDnesday! My kettle just went on me at Christmastime and I had to get a new one. I looked at that very same red kettle but ended up purchasing a glass one because our last kettle was red. Still like the red though. Love your cupcake too. Happy REDnesday!

Blessings,
Sandi

Love your red goodies! Sweet collection:) Love the Goodwill basket repurposed. The cupcake sign is too cute. AND... of course, I love all of the Marine decals and signs. Was the mailbox already like that or did you add it? My Sister would love to have that on her mailbox! Enjoy your day my dear!

We just moved and Hubby wants me to do the kitchen in red. Your photos gave me a few ideas.

My hubby started in the marines and then went on to do thirty years in the navy. I should look for things to tell the world about his service for our house. Great ideas here today.

Thanks for the visit my way.

Julie, I am so glad that I took the time when I was reading The Coop Keeper blog today to check yours out. What an awesome blessing it was to see how you openly share your faith and love for the Lord on your blog. I've always enjoyed the comments you've left on Jayme's blog...now I understand why. I'm adding you to my prayer list, as well as your Marine. I so appreciate the willingness of those like him to serve our country. I'm wondering if you have seen the DVD called "The Way We Get By"? It was actually produced as a documentary for PBS, but it is about the greeters at the airport in Bangor ME for when our military go to Iraq or Afghanistan and when they come home. If you haven't seen it I would highly recommend it.

I had a smile looking through all your reds, but even more so seeing your sidebar photos. Your beautiful children and husband, everything on the Marines and the Chuck Norris approved, well done!
