Last night my dad and I went to my church's Christmas Musical. It was on the life of George Handel and his writing and composing of his famous work THE MESSIAH.
It was beautiful. It was awesome. It was moving. It was incredible. It put the listener's heart in the Christmas spirit. The true reason that we celebrate The Christmas Day. God With Us.
And it was a very special concert because my son Kam was singing in it. He said it was extremely hard music to learn and sing.
Here are some pics I caught of him getting ready before he took off .
And then I caught him over 3 hours later, after it was over. *whew...long program, but worth it. He enjoyed being a part of it, my dad and I enjoyed being in the audience. Can you tell he looks tired???? This was the second night run. They still have tomorrow night to do to!!! So many people come, the staff decided to do the concert three nights this year.
Kurt asked me if I could hear Kameron singing....well in a choir of at least 150 strong, not singularly, but I told him , "yes...in my heart." :-)
It is always a grand finale and a climax to stand for the Hallelujah Chorus and it never fails to give me goosebumps...
King of kings, forever and ever,
And Lord of lords,
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
And He shall reign forever and ever...
Hugs to all who drop by today. May you have a wonderful Sunday to begin your new week. God Bless...

What a handsome young man you have there,
Julie! I would love to have been in the
audience as I love Handel's Messiah.
We have a big, heavy snow this morning!
There's over three inches now and more
forecast for tonight and tomorrow before
it ends. I love it! So Christmas-ee!
Hugs,
Sandy
What a blessing to have such a FINE Son to sing in this wonderful Christmas production! I know you are SO proud! I wish I could have been there to see it, I wish I could give you a hug, I wish I could give your Dad a hug! Someday... I WILL! I hope Kurt is doing well, I saw on your comment to Joyce that his back is hurt! I'll be praying! I hope he will get a long Christmas vacation and get to spend it with all of you! Love to you my dear friend! Thanks for sharing your handsome Son with us! I know he will be happy after tomorrow night! HUGS!
You must be so proud of Kam. I love going to hear the Messiah. I get goosebumps when we stand to hear the Hallelujah Chorus too.
What a special time for you and your dad, Julie. I can't begin to tell you how much I love Handel's Messiah. In that second picture of Kam he looks so much like Kurt. But then the further I go with the pics, I see him favoring you. Either way, he's a handsome young man and I know you are proud of him.
Hugs coming to you from WV.
That is so neat that he would sing with the choir..and I so love the Messiah! I have sung it many times and it never gets old. I believe it is Heaven inspired for sure! ;D
Aawww....! Julie that's so nice and to share this moment with your Dad. And you know? It's true what you say about knowing in your heart your Son's voice. My daughter sang a few times at the school chorus and I always knew her voice from the rest. Hugs... :)
And He shall reign forever and ever...
Bless you Julie, keeping all of you in my prayers and in my heart!

That is a BIG
commitment and testimony
to what fine people
you and Kurt have raised,
Julie. Have you seen the
Youtube video called Random
Acts of Culture, where a
group breaks out singing this
at the Philadelphia Macy's?
It is just precious.
Like you!
Happy Tuesday,
xx Suzanne
