White Wednesday!

It's time for something white to post today. Kathleen does this every week. Click on the link and go view some lovely and dreamy and whimsical whites. It's fun to see how creative others are displaying so many various items and shades of white.

Another Goodwill goodie...

I don't know what this little sheep is made of but it is SOOO fragile, everytime I pick it up more little shards of the wool seem to break off. So I have to tell myself, "HANDS OFF!!" It was too cute to leave at Goodwill for 99 cents.

shabby white and blue finials or candlesticks for the bath.

These glass bead stems remind me so much of winter ice...

metal post card sign in sepia white, displayed in the large birdcage. (loved the Scottie)

This is a little bit of whimsy I have had fun creating this week. It consists of 3 separate dishes and a cloche topper ranging from .25 to .49 (Goodwill)... -a creamy white flower shaped base, a delicate blue floral china dish, and the clear glass plate and dome set.- I had found a sweet hand-painted egg that has a nest with two little spikey headed birds sitting in it. That egg sits in a nest of leftover blue and white beach glass and mini blueberries. It is fun, whimisical, and just plain cute. Love the theme of nesting.

I took the cloche dome off to try and give you a closer look at the irresistible little nest scene. My camera just WON'T do closeup shots. Oh well, you'll have to take my word for it. It's adorable! Just sharing the latest fun project!

And of course I can't end this blog without posting a few white chilly photos of the snow we just got last Friday night and Saturday. (for the personal journalling side of my blog. )

Gideon LOVES snow!

Rob Roy tolerates it.

Kobe loves outdoors...period!

Thanks so much for popping in to visit over at Life Is What You Make Of It...

These days we are awaiting the return of Justin back to NC from a month of final pre-deployment training in California. Looking forward so much to getting to talk to him again this weekend. He will have about a month before shipping out to Afghanistan.
Thank you...all of of you for your kind comments and words to share with him. It means a lot.
Blessings. Go have a great Wednesday!!

Good Morning Julie! How can someone that you have NEVER met face to face speak such sweet words to your heart! Your comment this morning meant so much to me. God leads us in directions that we sometimes don't understand or know how it will turn out. We both have Justins and (one is my nephew and of course-your Son). I will be there for you as you are being there for me. Thank you so much!

Now to your beauties! LOVE them all, Goodwill rocks:) Those glass bead stems are beautiful and it makes me want to run out and buy some. The egg in the little nest is precious and you did an excellent job putting it all together. As always, love the snow pictures. Pretty enough frame! Those pearly white dogs and golden Kobe-sweet!

Have a blessed day my dear friend who touched my heart this morning! Hugs and prayers for you and your family. I can't wait for you to get to spend some time with your Justin!!!

I LOVE the picture of the snow. It's great to see how pretty the snow looks, although living in Southern CA, not sure I could actually LIVE with snow! Great photos, especially the dogs!
Take care, Sue

Hi julie,

It's me again. LOL I just read your comment on my "Rednesday" post and you asked how that tea was. At first it was "Ok, not my favorite" but, by the time I finished my cup, I was liking it more and made a second cup of it. LOL I am trying to add more green tea into my tea drinking since it is filled with good stuff but, it as a tendency (to me) to taste like I am drinking weeds. LOL So, this one wasn't too bad.

I'm amazed at how similar our likes are, Julie. I love the seashore...the seashells...light houses...sea glass...As a matter of fact, our bathroom is decorated with the shore theme...but not the stuff you go to the store and buy...it is as yours is...what we've collected and I framed pictures of light houses from our time on the shore in Maine a few years ago. I love the "light and airy" feel of your home. Glad the Lord put you in my blogging path.

Oh I love the Goodwill! Your cloche creation is so sweet, the window table looks pretty cool too! Did you make that? Tell your husband we say GO BLUE at our house too, our son is a junior there! ~ Theresa
