Tuesday's ounce of cheer

Do small things make you smile? Can you glance at a Favorite Thing in your daily routine and have a little smile erupt inside or outside? What cheers you?

Thought For the Day.. from Proverbs 31:25-27 on a godly woman:

"She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness."

Thanks to all who passed through today. God's best blessings to you...thanks for your partnering with us to pray for our military men and women sacrificing on our behalf every day.

YES!!! I do look at little corners in our home and they bring up a smile. I surround myself with beautiful things (most of them from thrift stores), and when I am having a difficult day I take a look at those little treasures, their colors, their forms and for an instant I forget what the trouble was... ;-)
Blessings and hugs, keeping up our prayers...

Love that quote about the little things
being the Big Things. Your home is just
filled with love everywhere, Julie.
I have surrounded myself with things I
consider lovely, not expensive, but pretty
to me. Fresh flowers, inside and out, comfy
afghans, fluffy pillows, usually cookies
baking, pictures of my loved ones, pictures
I have cross stitched, Bibles everywhere,
bird-themed decor and birds on feeders outside
every door. I'm so thankful for my family
and home and all God has blessed me with.
I'm also thankful for men like Justin who
are the reason I have the freedom to live
my life on American soil in peace.
Blessings,
Sandy

Oh I love your things that make you smile! Is that a valance with the cherries hanging down... gorgeous!

How true about little things, I am appreciating the little things more and more as I get older.

Precious angel looking over Justin's picture. Warms my heart. I pray he will call or write soon. I know it is so hard, but as they all say... no news is good news:) But we still want to hear their voice EVEN for a moment! Have a blessed day my friend! HUGS!

Awww, I was smiling right along with you ... especially with the pictures of your men in your life. Precious.
It is a sweet thing to have little comforts in our home that bring us joy just by looking at them. Thank the Lord for allowing us to treasure these little things in life.
Love you dearly. Thanks for your prayers.
