T is for Tuesday, Treasures, and Theresa!

Well, I just have to write about this gal today. She is most assuredly a lady who loves her Savior, adores her family, cherishes her friends, has the gift of encouragement, and I'm convinced also....the gift of giving. Isn't she just the picture of a very lovely lady with a smile that just lights up a room? You just know it!

I know she loves to shower her love on others by opening her home to many. (Read her posts!!!)

She loves to bestow gifts on others I think because it gives her joy to see the delight it brings to their faces. She has a knack for creating special moments, no doubt about it.

And how do I know this...since I only met her through BloggyLand???!

Because she has blessed me with her wonderful, encouraging comments on my posts. And I now can say I am one of the delighted ones to receive a gift from her.

Those of you who follow along at her blog or mine will remember that she had a 1 year BLOG anniversary last week, and had her hubby draw two names from all her visitors who commented. Those two gals, Cindy Lou and myself...were the lucky winners.

I got my box yesterday! Ready to see the treasures?

Before I show you the contents...Look at the sweet floral artwork she did on the outside of the box. To me...just another evidence of what makes her so special. Brown paper packages with pretty Spring flowers... :-)

Okay, now on to the treasures!!!

The more I kept pulling one more item out of the box, the more my daughter kept saying WOW! Kat thought it was such a cool package ...and from someone I'd never even met!

An awesome new devotional to pause every morning for inspiration! YAY.

a beautiful shiny little angel ornament that says, "Everything is better when shared with a friend."

Here is where she landed in my little "toilette nook" in my bath

Oh so pretty little inspirational sayings on glittery stickers to embellish all kinds of papers, notes, and pages. My favorite says "I can do all things through HIM."

a delicious smelling sugary vanilla cookie-scented candle for my bath! **and look at the sweet little enclosure card. So many special touches!!

How adorable is this little metal black toile birdie ornament? Want to see where I put it?

PERFECT finishing touch to this lonely tassel on the terrarium. Love it!

And a bright and cheerful Spring journal along with a little notepad and matching stickers...

And look at this beautiful inspirational pillow. I love it. It's so TRUE!
Not only the heavenly angels flying low to protect us and our loved ones, but the earthly angels like this dear sweet bloggy sister. What a joy.

Found it's resting spot here in the living room. :-) so pretty.

Thank you so very much Theresa. I feel the delight of being a friend of yours, every morning with one of your "big ole Georgia hugs", and especially today with a box load of awesome goodies that just say Love from a friend. Blessings to you, Girl!
Loving it all. Have yourself a great day. Hope you won't mind me sharing just a little bit about wonderful YOU! :-)
.
Go visit Theresa, and tell her HI, and feel some warm fuzzies when you leave there.

Awww, Julie...what a special post to honor such a special lady! Theresa is definitely a lady with a giving heart. Doesn't it just make you feel so special and loved when you receive a box like that! Glad your name was drawn for her giveaway.

Have a wonderful day today. The sun is shining here again today and it is to be in the high 50's again...melting that snow away! We actually have some bare spots in our yard now.

We will be forever joined at the heart:) Love to you and it makes me so happy to know that you enjoyed your gift! There ARE angels everywhere, here... there... and in Afghanistan watching over our Justins:) Have a blessed day my friend!

Hello Julie,
Thank you so much for your instructions in inserting a link. I get everything except for the funny green symbol you've mentioned that will allow me to approve the link. I don't see a green symbol anywhere above the post box. I made sure that I was in compose and not html so I am wondering if there is something else that I'm not doing that the green symbol isn't showing on my screen. Any suggestions?

You know what? I can do this with inserting the full link. I actually did that on today's post with Anke's and Ulrike's names. I have a box that actually says LINK on it above the post box. When I click on it, then it gives me basically the same instructions you gave me...and a place to enter them and it shows up like it did in today's post. I have seen where people have typed the word "here" and then when you click on the word here, it takes you directly to the place you are linking to. Do you know how to do that? I'm satisfied with doing it the way I did today's post...just thought if you knew how to do the other that it would be fun to try. Thanks so much for your help, Julie.

Oh...and to answer your question...no, I don't speak German, but I would love to learn. I can look at words in Spanish, and some of them in the German language as well and figure out what the gist of the meaning is but don't really speak either language.

Hugs to you!

My dear friend, Julie,

You are one patient woman! I'd seriously consider putting you up in the same category as my patient husband, but I doubt you'll want to keep instructing me as long as he plunged away! :)

I wish I had a little green froggy thing, but it just isn't there. However, I do have the word "link" and when I click on it, a box does come up and it gives me the same instructions as you have been so patiently giving me.

The one thing I do know is that when we got our new computer with Windows 7 on it, the "blogger format" updated automatically...because before I did not have the word "LINK" .

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your patience...and I completely understand about it being easier if you could just "show me". :)
